In this study, we made a thorough review and detailed analysis of the mild-hybrid (48V) technology in terms of system configuration, component specifications and modes of operation. In addition, we analysed the potential of the mild-hybrid technology to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, as well as the positive impacts on pollutant emissions. The study also included market analysis and costs of the technology.
